In 1743, Rev Stoever compiled from various other sources a list of past baptisms by members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Warwick Township, Lancaster County. The record book that exists today (part of Pennsylvania Town and Church Records at Ancestry) has that different format up until about 1771. All the baptisms of a given father are grouped together.
So we find, under the name Joh Heinrich Motz, these four sons: Joh Jacob 22 Aug 1740-15 Sep 1740, Joh Michael 4 Aug 1745-11 Aug 1745, Johannes 3 Mar 1748-13 Mar 1748 and Adam 26 Jan 1751-27 Jan 1751.
Michael shows up again when he and wife Barbara baptized daughter Eva born 4 Jun 1772 and baptized 3 Jul 1772.
Jacob shows up also in the records of the Muddy Creek Luther Church in Coalico, Lancaster County where that same baptism was also recorded. And then in the records of the United Church of Christ in Ephrata, the 4 Jun 1776 marriage of George Steffen to Catharine Motz, daughter of Jacob of Coalico was recorded.
