Mary B Lontz says Michael came to the Penns Township area long before the Revolution.  He moved with younger brother John (born 1758) to Woodward, Centre County about 1785.

Michael’s four daughters married four brothers named Wise.

I found an Internet manuscript on the Moyer/Meyer families that mentions Barbara Meyer who married Michael Motz.  It mentions a family bible listing these children for Barbara:

Eve born 1772 married John Wise,
Susanna born 1774 married George Wise,
Barbara born 1775 married Martin Wise,
Catharine born 1781 married John Harper,
Elizabeth born 1783 married Jacob Hess,
Margaret born 1785 married Conrad Wise,and
Henry born 1788 married his cousin Barbara Meyer.
