Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Andrew J Martz (T3c6)
We know Andrew J as Jacob’s son as as he was listed with his parents in the 1850 Census. He was Andrew J, age 15. He is also linked to his parents on find-a-grave. Andrew is designated T3c6.
Relocated and Census Tracking notes for Andrew J Martz (T3c6)
He started out in Washington Counny, Maryland through 1870 and then by 1880 had moved to Miami County, Ohio. He’s buried in Clark County, Ohio.
Parent-Proof notes for Anna Catherine (Spouse 1)
There’s a clear record that of her marriage to Andrew J in 1858. But in 1860, the wife of Andrew J was listed as Sarah and they had a 4 year old son Oliver.

Then in 1870, Andrew’s wife was Ann C and 1880 Catherine. In the 1900 Census, Anna C said she had been married 41 years and had 7 children, 6 surviving.

I can account for seven children if I include Oliver and I think it was Thomas who was 4 in 1870 and then not listed in 1880 who had died.

So I can’t explain the fact of Oliver appearing to be born before their marriage nor can I explain why she was Sarah in 1860.
