There was another Thomas Talbott, son presumably, of John and Prudence (Colegate) Talbott. The problem is to be sure which married Belinda Slade.

I am certain it was this one, the son of Edmund Jr. because Edmund Jr., in his will refers to other parts of Bonds Gift he owns and he refers to Thomas son of Thomas deceased and two granddaughters Mary Gorsuch and Nancy Bond. (Nancy must somehow be Rachel).

Thomas wrote his will 16 Apr 1773. He named wife Belinda, son Thmas and daughters Mary and Rachel. He mentioned owning a tract of land called Bond’s Gift and a leaswhold on My Lady’s Manor.
