Robert Barnes says that Francis Potee had a son named John. I assume it was the same John who acquired land in 1719 that passed to his son in 1733.

A John Poteet died 5 Mar 1720. This one? Yes because on 2 May 1721, Elizabeth Petit was administrator for estate of John Petit with sureties James Durham and Joseph Ellidge. Bal Admin Vol 2, page 444.
