Parent-Proof notes for Sarah Jane Malick
We first meet her in the peition of John Malick, eldest son of Jacob, who said his father died leaving 14 children which when listed appead to count up to 14. What appeard to be two names — Sarah, Jane — were incorrectly puncuated. There hsould have been no comma, her name was sarah Jane which is confirmed by her own petiion for a guardain.
Then in a newspaper clipping in 1847, George Conrad, who was appointed guardain for all tseven minor children of Jacob’s, names er Sarah Ann Malick and then in 1850 names her Sarah Ann Chamberlain, fomerly Malick.
This explains the 1850 Census which listed Maria Malick’s household:

Henry Chamberlain 6
Jane 25
Mary A 16
Then it seems Sarah had a son Isaac J Reitz who was raised by Hannah. Isaac was born in 1853.
Finally, sometime in the early 1860’s, Sarah married Isaac Duttry (Dottery) and raised a family by him.

Research notes for Sarah Jane Malick
Isaac Dott* married first Catherine Bordner, had several children including son Jacob born 1848 down to a daughter Mary born 1858 all one big happy family in 1850 and 1860 and then in 1870, Catherine's gone, the older children are gone (except for Mary) and we find Isaac married to Sarah and several children probably by her including Francis E, definitely by her, and from his dc, her name is Sarah Malick.
