I know that Heinrich had a son Samuel. If his sons were named in order, Samuel was the second youngest and I know the youngest son was Joseph who was born in 1805. So for a while, I figured I was looking for a Samuel Martz born, say, in the early 1800’s. But I never found such a man. Instead I found one in the 1850 Census living in Barry Township, Schuylkill County born in about 1794. I have convinced myself this very likely was Henry’s son of that name. I believe he was also listed in 1820 in Manheim Township where I might have expected to find him and then in 1840 in West Brunswick Township, consistent perhaps with his brother Joseph being in the same place and his brother Philip being there the decade previous. Samuel is designated N3a1.
