Obituary: “Paul R. Martz, 86, of Sunbury, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010. He was born April 14, 1924, in Sunbury, a son of the late Herbert W. and Pearl E. (Packer) Martz. He was married for 44 years to the former Marion Lake Notestine, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren, Sandra Beck, of Sunbury, Cindy Furman, of Northumberland, and John Notestine and his wife, Ann, of Kulpmont; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Nancy L. and William C. Dorman, of Sunbury, and Pearl Martz Shannon, of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert, and two sisters, Shirley Eckman and Jeanette Snyder. Burial will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery.”
