Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Jeremiah Martz (G1a1c)
I have concluded that Jeremiah was the son of Nicholas based on where he lived and where he was buried. It is confirmed by the land record naming all of Nicholas’ heirs. He is designated G1a1c.

Find-a-Grave notes for Julyann (Spouse 1)
Her memorial on find-a-grave gives her date of death as 1853 and at first glance that seems to be consistent with the photo of her tombstone. But I wondered how it could be that she was present in the 1860 through 1880 Census with her husband and children.
When I found the death certificate of her daughter Minnie (Shearer) born in 1866 that said her parents were Jeremiah Martz and Julia Ann Geiger, I looked at the tombstone more closely. I think it says 1893. I have submitted an edit to find-a-grave to fix it.
