We know Joseph as the son of John from his presence in his father’s households in 1850 and 1860 Census as well his death certificate. He is designated P1c1a.

Joseph lived in Milton in 1870 with his wife Susan and daughter Maud. Maud lived with her grandparents in 1880 and I cannot find Joseph and then he reappears in 1900 in Tamaqua with a different wife. My hunch is that Susan died before 1880 which is why Maud was sent to live her grandparents. Joseph might have been anywhere.
