Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Baltzer Martz (T2)
Balser (Baltzer or Balthasars) was named in his father’s will and was baptized by his parents in Germany, the baptism recede giving his birth date. He is designated T2.
The wikitree of Beth Rasmussen gives his birth date as 1747 (not a bad estimate at all) and that he died Sep 1809. She adds that he served with the Frederick Battalion and saw action in the Revolutionary War.
Relocated and Census Tracking notes for Baltzer Martz (T2)
Theobald died in 1786 and I believe all of his children except Peter who was already married were living together in 1790 in the household of George Martz. Then George died in 1793 and I think we find the remaining three unmarried surviving children of Theobald’s still together now with Baltzer as head of household. He and his two sisters all over the age of 45.
