Sarah Potee married Thomas Weir in 1756. Lewis Potee whose wife was named Sarah when he died named deceased daughter Sarah Weir in his will. I believe this was the Lewis Potee who married Sarah Meadows in 1754, who could not have been the mother of Sarah. I further believe that the Lewis Potee who sold land inherited by his wife Katherine Green daughter of Matthew was this same Lewis and Katherine Green was the mother of several if not all of Lewis’ daughters.
