Relocated notes for Philip Mutchner
Philip moved to Ohio, definitely in time for the 1830 Census when he was in Butler County and then by 1850 in Darke County, where he died.
Children Names notes for Philip Mutchner
Eleven children are listed on find-a-grave for Philip and his wife Mary with birth years ranging from 1800-1824.

I have investigated the Mutchner name simply out of curiosity. It is unusual to say the least. Christopher was listed in the 1790 Census (spelled Mutchenor) and then his son Philip in 1830 (spelled Muchner) in Butler County, Ohio. And in the 1930 Census, only four heads of household named Mutchner were listed -- all in Ohio or Indiana -- all four within a 40 mile radius of Darke County.

It is my opinion that Mutchner is a corrupted name but once corrupted -- in Christopher’s case -- the name stuck for him, his son Philip and Philip’s sons and then later generations. It is my opinion that everyone named Mutchner today in America might possibly descend from Christopher.
My Comments notes for Mary (Spouse 1)
Everything I know about her -- her name, date of birth and death and marriage date comes from her listing on find-a-grave. I have no idea if it all is true but have no reason to dispute any of it. Except, if true, she married just after her fifteenth birthday to Philip -- on his eighteenth.
