My Comments notes for Daniel Pennypacker
A Daniel Pennypacker, as best I can determine the son of Samuel, appeared in the 1830 Census in Washington Township, Union County. I have seen his name in connection with several estate settlements there. Indeed, Samuel Pennypacker says he was executor, administrator or guardian in upwards of 60 estates.
One of the estates was that of Conrad Bickhart, a descendant of J O’s ancestor Johannes. And, Daniel was appointed guardian of the children of our ancestor George Boyer.
He was the nephew of Elizabeth (Pennypacker) Haas. It is quite interesting how the Boyer, Haas, Pennypacker, Bickhart and Hilbish families -- all of Montgomery County -- were still closely associated even after their mass exodus to Penns Township.
