1880. George Rephorn, a laborer age 29 who was born in Holland as was his wife, lives in Eckart Mines, MD with Alice 25, Ida 4, John 2 and Cassie (?) 6 months. An Internet Family Tree shows John Rephorn born 1877 in Eckart Mines, MD whose wife was Mary Edith Powell as the son of George Rephorn (or Rephann) and Alice Channey. This Internet tree says both George and Alice were born in Maryland with no mention of Holland. So something is wrong somewhere.
