1870. G W Powell, a farmer age 42, lives in Juniata Twp, Bedford Co, PA with Cinderella 38, William 14, Anna (?) 12, John C 10, George 8, Franklin 6 and Maria Palmer 60 (I’d guess may be Cinderella’s mother).

1850. Cinderella and Maria Palmer. I have gone back to 1850 to try to find this family. Maria age 39 lives with Mary Statler age 76 and Rebecca Statler age 47 in Somerset Co, PA. This could be her mother and sister, but that is speculative. Cinderella lives in a different household down the street, in the household of Hugh and Mary Sproat who appear to operate a tavern. Whether Cinderella is only boarding with them or possibly working for them, I do not know.
