My Comments notes for Salome A Schultz
George Schultz is another immigrant ancestor of yours. He came in 1734 with a group of Schwenkfelders fleeing religious persecution in Germany. He married Maria Yeakel in Germany -- she was the daughter of Abraham Yeakel and Anna Heydrick. Yeakel and Heydrick are yet more ancestral names of yours about whom I suspect you could find a lot of information without too much effort.
George and Maria had a son Abraham. He married Regina Yeakel. I’ve not studied the Yeakel family but I would imagine Regina and her mother-in-law Maria were related -- so Abraham and Regina were possibly second or third cousins. And if you ever decide to truly unscramble all of this, Regina was the daughter of Christopher Yeakle and Maria Schultz. So Abraham and Maria’s children were Schultz and Yeakel descendants in numerous ways. Abraham Schultz was quite literary and is well known for having transcribed early Schwenkfelder theological documents. And he wrote many letters which described his life and times that are among prized Schwenkfelder archives.
Abraham and Regina had a son Adam. He married Regina Kriebel -- yet another family surname in your family tree that you will see mentioned a lot as you read through all of the material I have assembled here.
Adam and Regina had a son Israel who married Anna Anders.
Israel and Anna had a daughter Salome A Schultz and she married Jacob H Price. The generation numbers once again may appear confusing since Jacob H is the sixth generation descendant of his immigrant ancestor while Salome is the 5th generation descendant of her immigrant ancestor.
Census History notes for Jacob H (Spouse 1)
1860. Jacob H Price, a farmer age 30, lives in Lower Salford Twp, Montgomery Co, PA with Salome 29, Amanda 7 and Isaiah 5. I suspect his middle initial H stands for Harley.
My Comments notes for Jacob H (Spouse 1)
Jacob Price is another immigrant ancestor of yours. He also was a Dunkard who, with his family, was among the 20 or more families that came to America with Peter Becker in 1719. Jacob was also a minister. Jacob settled, as all of them did, first in Germantown, but then later moved to Indian Creek.
Jacob had a son Daniel.
Daniel had a son William. William married Catherine Reiff, daughter of Jacob and Catherine.
William and Catherine had a son Jacob who married Mary Harley, daughter of Abraham Harley and his wife Christiana.
Jacob and Mary had a son Jacob H who married Salome A Schultz, more on her below.
Jacob H and Salome had a daughter Amanda Schultz Price who married Henry M Harley. Henry is generation 5 above -- five generations down from Rudolph, while Amanda is 6 generations down from the original Jacob Price.
