Parent-Proof notes for John Ulp
In Marriages and Deaths 1808-1811, 1833-1874 compiled from Sunbury newspapers by Mary B Lontz, John Ulp died 1 Jan 1838 at age 26. Bev Ulp found a similar clipping suggesting a date of death of 1 Sep 1837, take your pick.

He was probably the son age 10-16 (though he was more like 18) living in Conrad’s household in 1830.
My Comments notes for John Ulp
I believe he had a son who was born a few months after John died.

Several Internet Trees say there was a John J Ulp, son of Conrad, born 1812, who married Harriet Eckert and had a son John Irwin Ulp (1838-1910). I believe this is generally true though his middle initial was not J.

There apparently was a John J Ulp who married Harriet K (Porter, I think, not Eckert) and was a merchant in Philadelphia in 1850 and while he did have a son John, that younger John had been born in 1849. I do not know who this John J was. He existed but I have no evidence to suggest he was Conrad’s son or had any connection to Northumberland or the Ulp family of that place. He may well have been a descendant of Barnet through a different son than Conrad.
Parent-Proof notes for Harriett (Spouse 1)
I am relying on the H L Eckert family history given to the Ulp-Eckert reunion in 1911 that John Ulp married Harriett Eckert. I knew her as Harriett but never knew her maiden name. It confirms the death certificate of John Irin (Irwin) Ulp which says he was born 1838 and died 6 Mar 1910 in Northumberland and his parents were John Ulp and Harriett Eckert. I previously thought there was some complicated explanation for this, nothing so simple as she was an Eckert.

It seemed complicated because of the presence of John I Ulp age 11 in Levi Eckert’s 1850 household. But I now realize that Levi and Sarah were a double aunt-uncle to John I.
