My Comments notes for John F Hummel
I have found the marriage record of John with birth date 16 Aug 1857 son of Edward and Emma Hummel. I know this line of Hummels, they were descendants of Johannes, the earliest Hummel in Northumberland Borough, who was buried at Riverview. What I don’t know for sure is whether Johannes was related to our line of Hummels and if so how. He is my database as a son of Captain John Jacob Hummel but that is only a guess. My hunch is Johannes was related to our line, but how?
