Parent-Proof notes for Lucy Ann Lesher
Lucy Ann was d/o John George and Catherine (Robbins) Lesher per find-a-grave.
Parent-Proof notes for Jacob (Spouse 1)
Lot 172 in Northumberland was granted in 1818 to Alice Ulp wife of Conrad then sold in 1865 to Levi Eckert by Jacob Ulp and wife Ann, George and Elsie Eckert and (separately) Jacob and Mary Eckert. Jacob and Ann show up in Census starting in 1850 and we know he was born about 1820 from those listings. All logic suggests to me he was the son of Conrad and Elsie named after his recently deceased older brother.
Census History notes for Jacob (Spouse 1)
1850. Jacob Ulph lives in Sunbury with wife Ann. He’s 30 she 28.

1860. Jacob Ulp (indexed as Ness) and Ann live in North’d Borough.

1870. He has moved to Clinton County and works at a bookstore.

1880. He is now a sign painter in Clinton County.
Research notes for Jacob (Spouse 1)
An 1852 notice in the Sunbury newspaper said Mary Catherine, youngest daughter of Jacob and Ann Ulp, died age 1y 4m. Separately, Robert L, son of Jacob and Ann Ulp, died 22 Jun 1856 age 3y, 4m 7d.

Separately, in Lock Haven, Laura R Ulp married Passives G Knights 13 Oct 1870 at the home of her father, Jacob, in Lock Haven.
My Comments notes for Jacob (Spouse 1)
I may be mixing up several Jacobs but I don’t think so. A woman named Lauria Elsie (Ulp) Kwqlitz (not my typo) b. 1847 d. 2 May 1916 in Elk County d/o Jacob Ulp and Lucy Lesher and previously Lucy A Ulp b.1822 d.27 Feb 1910 in Lock Haven (Clinton County). Lucy was d/o George Lesher and Catherine Robbins.

So if I am right it was the same Jacob whose wife was Ann in North’d County who moved to Clinton County -- where in Census, his wife was Lucy, this is all fits.
