Obituary. 19 Oct 1907, The State, Columbia, SC. Reports that the paper learned yesterday of his death, may have been earlier. Died at his home in Laurinburg. Had been a fireman in Columbia since 1852 before moving to Laurinburg in about 1882 or so. He was a brother of Malcolm.
