Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Charles F Martz (P6a5)
All sources that cover the early Northumberland County Martzes say David and Magdalena had a son Charles. Meiser identifies him as Charles F Martz (1817-1880) and says he married first Elizabeth Haas and “apparently” second Esther Fisher.

That Charles F is buried at Blue Church where his brother David is buried. The dates match and from his find-a-grave memorial, the names of his wives match. I have found him. He is designated P6a5.
Known Sons notes for Charles F Martz (P6a5)
Meiser says he had two sons by Elizabeth Haas born before 1850, Edward born about 1844 and Albert (1849-1910). Edward was present in the 1850 Census age 6 and Edward (1843-1921) is linked to his parents on find-a-grave so he qualifies for me to track, for sure.

Albert is a different story. There was no Albert in Charles’ 1850 household and Meiser shows another Albert (1865-1911) as a son of Charles by Esther Fisher. That Albert is a confirmed son by his death certificate. I am sure there was no other Albert born in 1849.
Death and Find-a-Grave notes for Charles F Martz (P6a5)
Charles and his two wives are on find-a-grave.
Parent-Proof notes for Elizabeth (Spouse 1)
She is linked to Daniel and Eve Barbara (Reed) Haas as her parents on find-a-grave.
