He lives with Susan Feb 1861, Annie Aug 1884, William Jun 1886, Nora Feb 1888, Estella Aug 1881, Harvey C Feb 1893, Warren Jan 1896 and Mabel Nov 1899.

Meiser/Martz is generally consistent with Census. It notes the two marriages of Hannah Mertz and their son Harvey C Witmer b.21 Jun 1863. And it adds:

Harvey C Witmer married Susan B Weaver b.Feb 1861 d/o Harry and Anna Bonawitz. They had 11 children -- all born in Lower Mahanoy Twp:
