Parent-Proof notes for 7G GM Elizabeth Pratt
The 1686 will of her father mentioned minor daughter Eliza, she was not yet 16 -- hence the birth date computation for her of sometime after 1671. That will also mentioned his son Thomas and this was the Thomas who died in 1711 (known from the names of his plantations) who mentioned a child of his sister Elizabeth Anderson with John Anderson as an Executor.
My Comments notes for 7G GM Elizabeth Pratt
The Pratts too were among our earliest ancestral arrivals to this country and probably migrated into Anne Arundel having first settled or at least landed in Virginia.
Parent-Proof notes for John (Spouse 1)
John's father may have been William Anderson, a Scot, who died before 12 Oct 1701 in Anne Arundel County according to one source -- the Pearce Family Tree -- that appears to be reasonably well researched. And on the Internet, there is a tree that says his wife was Sarah Ross.

We share John Anderson and his daughter Elizabeth who married William Pearce as ancestors with Franklin B McClung (Lida Hoshall has McClung ancestors) whose wife wrote a book that cites a 1948 genealogy on the Anderson family by Cora Anderson Dulaney that says “John Anderson, who died in 1727, may not have been the original Anderson settler in Anne Arundel County but he is the first to present a proved genealogical line.” Dulaney was commenting that it cannot be proven that John was William’s son, though that has been speculated.
Research notes for John (Spouse 1)
He was taxed on the Maryland 1678 Tax List in Somerset County for 152 pounds of tobacco.

Anderson’s addition surveyed for John in 1704 passed to son William who sold it in 1719. TR DS 151.
My Comments notes for John (Spouse 1)
The birth of his daughter Elizabeth was recorded in a church register.

From F Edward Wright’s ”Anne Arundel Church Records”: ”Children of John Anderson and Elizabeth include John, Benjamin, Elizabeth (born 15 Oct 1694, baptized 17 Sep 1704) and Thomas all baptized at St. James Parish.”

Obviously the Andersons were among our earliest ancestral arrivals to this country and probably migrated into Anne Arundel having first settled or at least landed in Virginia. Cora Anderson Dulaney says they were of Scottish descent.
Children Names notes for John (Spouse 1)
The will of John Anderson of Anne Arundel County dated 20 Sep 1725 proved 31 Mar 1727, mentioned wife Eliza, sons Thomas, William and Benjamin and daughters Eliza and Hannah. He bequeathed certain personal property to daughter Eliza during her life then to pass to granddaughter Eliza Powell.
